Hunter's Mark ❘ 狩人の徴	Consumable

In-Game Description Dangling, upside-down rune etched in one's mind. Symbol of a hunter. By focusing one's thoughts on this rune, a hunter loses all Blood Echoes, but awakens afresh, as if it were all just a bad dream. Note 1: The same in-game description in US & UK versions. ✓ Note 2: Original Japanese text on Original Japanese Item Index page. ✓ Effects You begin the game with this item and can use it an unlimited number of times.It removes all of your Blood Echoes and sends you back to the last Lamp that you rested at. This is usually a fate worse than death, as you'll never be able to retrieve your Blood Echoes, whereas you have the opportunity to recover them if you simply die. It's better to use a Bold Hunter's Mark. An exception to this would be the times when you don't have many Blood Echoes and you just want a shortcut back to the Hunter's Dream; that's the only situation in which you are likely to use this. Availability Starting Item: Available from the beginning of the game Notes Same as Bold Hunter's Mark but upon using it all held Blood Echoes will be lost. Using it doesn't affect current bloodstain. Load times are 50%+ longer if you die than if you use a Hunter's Mark. [evidence]
