Unopened Summons ❘ 未開封の招待状	Key Item

An old, sealed summons.

Like the first of its kind, it is an invitation to Cainhurst, but
for whom is not known, as it lacks addressee.

Giving Unopened Summons to Alfred, Hunter of Vilebloods will allow him to travel to Forsaken Cainhurst Castle (he will also reward you with the Wheel Hunter Badge and a gesture), at which point he will slaughter the Queen and enable you to collect her flesh for offering at the Altar of Despair. Behind where Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos was laying dormant at Altar of Despair you will find the remains of a False God that are still eminating a great deal of power; bring Queenly Flesh to this altar to resurrect her.

You'll find Alfred waiting atop the stairway to the Forbidden Woods after nightfall, at which point you may give him the Unopened Summons found on the desk near Annalise's throne; doing so will allow him to travel to Cainhurst Castle, where he will finish what his master started and slaughter the queen. With his mission finally fulfilled.

Alfred will thank you for your assistance and leave Cainhurst; when you return to the Cathedral Ward, you'll find him mysteriously dead at the altar where you first met him.

Treasure in (Main Story): Forsaken Cainhurst Castle Queen's Chamber, on a small desk to the right of the Queen Annalise's throne.

Upon starting New Game+ all of the Key Items (except for Badges, Blood Gem Workshop Tool, Rune Workshop Tool, Short Ritual Root Chalice, Workshop Haze Extractor and Yharnam Stone) you acquired on your previous playthrough will be stripped away and you'll need to collect them again.
