All right-hand weapons and most left-hand weapons require some level of strength to use. Many weapons also have their damage increased by character's strength. Focusing on strength is desirable if player wants to engage in physical combat with heavy weapons.

Every class starts with at least 9 strength so stat requirement below that is automatically met.

Diminishing Returns: Diminishing Returns is a common concept in RPGs, meaning that for a given investment, i.e. one point in a stat, you receive a smaller benefit, e.g. fewer hit points per point in the HP stat.
