Beast Patient (Female) ❘ 獣患者	Regular Enemy

Description These Beast Patients share the same basic attacks as the other types, and those with glowing red eyes will also inflict poison build-up if they hit you. The hooded cloak they wear shields their eyes so they do not recoil in fear at the sight of small flames like the male versions, but they do still share the same weakness to fire attacks. They usually appear in groups both with other females and males, and having your Torch out while fighting mixed groups can be very beneficial, because it will allow you to focus on the females while the males recoil from the flame. You can further use this to your advantage by luring females over to recoiling males so that they group up and you take multiple enemies out at once with well placed Molotovs. At close range they will often use a swift shoulder charge, which can be difficult to avoid; if you're just outside their reach, they may try to close the distance with a combo attack, which carries them forward as they perform it. Strategy Handle them the same way as the males - stand back and wait for them to strike, then dash in and perform a quickstep attack or an R1 chain to finish them quickly and easily. Molotovs are helpful for dealing with tightly-clustered groups, especially in the enclosed spaces and narrow pathways of Old Yharnam. Most thrust attacks from long weapons, such as Rifle Spear or the transformed Saw Spear, can hit them from a safe distance and help minimize the risk of being poisoned if they manage to hit you, though carrying a few Antidotes is always a good plan just in case. If you're being chased by several Beast Patients and need to create some breathing room, you can distract them with a Pungent Blood Cocktail; you can also toss one into any of the fires scattered throughout Old Yharnam and they will throw themselves into the flames after it. Ashen Blood Beast Patient Effect Enemies in Ashen Blood Beast Patient's shriek vicinity get buff visually represented by the Red Eyes. In Old Yharnam affected enemies have stronger attacks, get Slow Poison property for them and HP boost. This effect is lost when enemies gets too far away or Ashen Blood Beast Patient is killed, in the latter it takes around 10 seconds for the effect to be lost. Exception are the Scourge Beasts who additionally gets idle animation that recovers their HP and effect is permanent. Notes Preset Chalice Dungeons: Ailing Loran, Lower Loran All enemies and bosses (except hunter enemies) have 999 frenzy resistance, despite that they are still vulnerable to such status. The only way to see it without modding is to use Shaman Bone Blade on enemy inflicting frenzy to attack others. [test video] Fixed rally aura can appear on certain enemies exclusively in Loran dungeons. Despite their similarities, this aura is not related to Fetid rite. Enemies with such aura (red) will have Rally Effect and can regain health as you do. This aura appears around labyrinth madmen, beast patients and scourge beasts. Enemies with rally aura recover 20% of their HP per hit. Besides rally ability, these enemies have only 70% of their normal HP and always drop cursed gems. Rally aura scourge beast can also drop Beast Blood Pellets (5% drop rate at base Discovery). Beast Patient (Female) with red eyes have different drop rates from regular version. Strong versions appear before facing Blood-starved Beast in Old Yharnam

Pungent Blood Cocktails attract this enemy, making it vulnerable for few seconds. Shaman Bone Blades affect this enemy, making it hostile to other enemies.
